Western Cable Services LLC is a Veteran owned company based in Gypsum, CO. Wanting to stay in the mountains, Kirk Clapp created the company during the pandemic in 2020, after being laid off from his position as a Local Network Engineer.

WCS started as a solo operation providing commercial installation and repair services for Internet Service Providers along with OSP splicing and repair services for ski resort telecom networks in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

By 2022, the company had shifted away from OSP and ISP work, and added structured network cable installation, security cameras, network cable testing, and repair services to it’s offerings and expanded the client base to now include various hospitality, entertainment, small to medium business, schools, State and Federal government organizations throughout Colorado and beyond!

Flash forward to today and now with over 26 years experience, Kirk and his team provide MSP IT services, Ubiquiti network solutions, structured network cabling, fiber optic cabling, cellular boosters and DAS systems, security cameras, VoIP phones, access control, PtP wireless links, WiFi, troubleshooting and repair services, and we particularly love to design custom solutions for difficult and remote locations!
